Let’s be real, homeschooling is hard.  Well thought out lesson plans, awesome curriculum, and lots and lots of coffee are all VERY helpful.  But the best resource to help a stressed out homeschooling mama is the Bible.  I’ve compiled a few of my favorite verses that will hopefully help you when you are losing your patience or you just need a little bit of encouragement.Inspiring Bible Verses for Homeschool Moms

Galatians 6:9 – Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Colossians 3:23-24 – Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. 

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understandings.  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. 

Philippians 4:13 – I  can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

James 1:2 – Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Philippians 1:6 – And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Isaiah 40:31 -But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Matthew 11:28 – Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Romans 8:28 – And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 12:12 – Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

1 Corinthians 13:7 – Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Peter 5:7 – Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.

Proverbs 4:23 – Above all else guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Against such things, there is no law.

Ephesians 4:32 – Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 4:29 – Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Phillipeans 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Exodus 14:14  – The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.

Romans 8:37 – No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Matthew 6:4 – Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Psalm 91:4 – He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.
